International Counsel

Un I specialises in Corporate and M&A, working actively with Chinese corporate and individual clients on transactions and investments into Portuguese speaking countries. She is a key contact at the firm’s Lisbon office, splitting her time between Portugal and Macau.

Un I graduated in one of the top Law School in Portugal and gained a master’s degree in management in one of top 10 Business School in the world. This dual qualification has enabled her to understand the business aspects of legal issues and provide value added solutions to clients.

Before joining MdME, Un I worked in a leading Portuguese law firm where she integrated the Lusophone Africa team, dedicated to advise international clients investing in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde. She also participated in various cross border transactions which involved complex financial, corporate and regulatory issues. Un I’s practices spans through several sectors, including energy, private equity, real estate, banking & finance and shipping.

Un I is actively involved in the community, being a member of the Association for Chinese Lawyers in Europe, Vice-President of the Direction Board of New Silk Road Friends Association, Vice-President of the General Assembly of Portugal-China Young Entrepreneurs Association, Board Member of House of Macau, Honourable President of Luso-Macaense Student’s Association and Executive Vice-President of the Direction Board of Macau Youth Summit.

Education

Law Degree (Lisbon School of Law, Catholic University of Portugal).

Master’s in management with specialisation in International Management (IE Business School, Spain)

Languages

Portuguese, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), and English.

Memberships

Portuguese Bar Association (admitted in 2019).
