Diogo joined MdME as International Counsel in 2022 and focused on assisting companies and individuals in achieving their goals on their business transactions - particularly in matters related to international contract negotiations & international commerce, foreign direct investment (FDI) towards China and Asian investment entering Portuguese-speaking countries.
Diogo started his professional career in Lisbon, working in Corporate and M&A, Tourism and Real Estate. Since he moved to Shanghai in 2014, he has acted as Foreign Lawyer, advising several projects in the areas of Foreign Direct Investment in China, Corporate and M&A, and International Contracts & Negotiation.
Born in Lisbon, he graduated in Law from the School of Law of the University of Lisbon. He attended the master's degree in Law & Business at the School of Law and the Lisbon School of Business and Economics of the Catholic University of Portugal.
He is also the Chief Representative of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCILC) in Shanghai.
